What is StreamTheGrid?

StreamTheGrid is a pixel-based advertising platform designed for creators. Users can purchase pixel space on a shared grid to showcase their content, brand, or message, with clickable links to approved platforms.

What happens on May 1st, 2026?

May 1st, 2026, is the date of our official global streaming event. On this day, we’re attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the most-streamed homepage in history.

To make it happen, we’re inviting every creator and streamer on and off the grid to broadcast the site on their stream for at least 10 minutes all within the same 24-hour window.

We chose May 1st, Labour Day, to highlight an important message: streamers, creators, and influencers are labourers too. This event celebrates the creativity, dedication, and hard work that go into digital content creation, often underappreciated despite its global impact.

How much is 1 pixel?

Each pixel costs $1 USD. It’s the smallest unit available on the grid.

Is 1 block the same as 1 pixel?

No.
A block consists of 100 pixels, arranged in a 10×10 square.
So, 1 block = 100 pixels = $100 USD.

What is the minimum purchase amount?

The minimum purchase is 1 block (100 pixels), with a total cost of $100 USD.

Will I be charged extra fees when buying pixels?

All prices on StreamTheGrid are final, we do not add any hidden fees.
However:

  • If you pay with a non-local card, your bank may charge an international transaction fee.

  • This is not from us or Stripe, and unfortunately, we can’t control it.

  • To avoid this, consider using PayPal or checking with your bank about possible charges.

We recommend reaching out to your bank if you’re unsure about international fees before making a purchase.

Will I be charged extra fees when paying through PayPal?

We don’t add any extra fees on our end but depending on how you pay through PayPal, your bank might:

  • ✅ If you use your PayPal balance or a linked local bank account in the same currency, you’re usually safe, no extra fees.

  • ⚠️ If you pay using a debit or credit card via PayPal, your bank may charge an international transaction fee (especially if you’re outside our region).

These charges come from your bank, not PayPal or StreamTheGrid, and may vary based on your location and currency settings.

Tip: To avoid surprise fees, use your PayPal balance or check with your bank before completing payment.

No.
All submitted content must be safe for work and adhere to our platform standards. NSFW, offensive, or harmful content will be removed without notice.

Can I sell my pixels to someone else?

No.
Pixel ownership is non-transferable. However, you are free to rent out your pixel space or use it to promote other creators, brands, or content as you choose.
You retain full creative control over how your space is used, but the ownership itself cannot be sold or transferred.

Can I buy pixels if I'm not a streamer?

Yes.
StreamTheGrid is open to everyone, not just streamers. Whether you’re a content creator, artist, musician, business owner, or simply a supporter, you’re welcome to participate.

In fact, many fans choose to buy pixel space to support and promote their favorite creators or streamers. You can upload their image and even link to their stream or profile. It’s a creative and impactful way to show support while helping them gain more visibility on the grid.

How can I tell if a block was bought by the actual creator or a fan?

Currently, all blocks appear the same, whether purchased by the creator themselves or by a fan supporting them.

However, this will change soon.
We’re introducing verification badges, which will appear as a green checkmark next to the creator’s name. This badge confirms that the creator has personally verified ownership of their block by contacting .

This system helps distinguish official creator-owned blocks from those purchased by fans.

What are platform tabs?

Platform tabs allow visitors to filter the grid by content platform, such as Kick, Twitch, YouTube, and others.

When a platform tab is selected, all creators using that platform will be highlighted in the platform’s signature color, for example, Kick creators in green, YouTube creators in red, and so on.

This feature makes it easier to visually explore and discover creators based on the platforms you use or follow.
